About FindCarGarages
Finding a garage you can trust in South Africa is harder than it should be. Ask around in any group chat and you will get five names, three warnings and a story about a gearbox. Search online and you get paid adverts, dead phone numbers and listings from businesses that closed years ago.
FindCarGarages exists to fix that. We are building a free, national directory of car garages, mechanics, tyre fitment centres, windscreen fitters, auto electricians, panel shops and specialists, organised by town, by service and by the make you drive.
What we believe
- Searching should be free. Always, with no sign-up wall and no commission on your repair.
- Listing should be free. A small workshop in Musina deserves the same visibility as a franchise in Sandton.
- Details matter. Working phone numbers, honest opening hours, real accreditations and moderated reviews.
- Independence matters. Premium placement is clearly marked. We never disguise an advert as a recommendation.
How we make money
Garages can pay for a Premium listing, which adds photos, priority placement and lead alerts. We also build websites for workshops that want one. That is it. Motorists pay nothing and we take no cut of any job.
