Listing terms for garages

1. Who may list

Any lawfully trading motor repair, servicing, tyre, glass, panel, auto electrical, towing or related business operating in South Africa may list. You must be authorised to act for the business.

2. Accuracy

You must keep your listing accurate, including trading address, phone number, opening hours and the services you actually offer. Listings with dead phone numbers may be unpublished.

3. Accreditation claims

Only claim an accreditation you currently hold, such as RMI, MIWA, SAMBRA, TEPA, ARA, SAPRA, AA Quality Assured or Bosch Car Service. We may ask for your membership number and will remove unverifiable claims.

4. Enquiries and quotes

Enquiries and quote requests are provided to you as introductions only. You are responsible for the quality, safety and legality of the work you perform and for any warranty you offer.

Do not use motorist contact details for anything other than replying to their request. Bulk marketing to directory contacts is a breach of these terms and of POPIA.

5. Reviews

You may not write, buy, incentivise or solicit fake reviews, and you may not review a competitor. You may reply once to each review. Threatening a reviewer is grounds for removal from the directory.

6. Premium subscriptions

Premium adds presentation and placement features. It does not influence review moderation or the outcome of complaints. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it.

7. Suspension and removal

We may unpublish or remove a listing for repeated inaccuracy, false accreditation claims, fake reviews, abusive conduct towards motorists or staff, or unlawful trading. Where practical we will contact you first.

8. Content licence

By uploading a logo, photograph or description you confirm you have the right to use it and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the directory and in directory promotion.
