What the Verified badge actually means
Anyone can put a business online. The Verified badge on FindCarGarages tells you a person on our side has checked the basics before you hand over your car keys.
1.The phone number works
We call the number on the listing and speak to someone at the business. If nobody answers over several attempts, the listing does not get verified.
2.The address is a real trading address
We confirm the workshop trades from the address given, not a postbox or a private home used only for admin.
3.The business name matches
The trading name on the listing must match how the business presents itself to customers.
4.Accreditations are genuine
If a garage claims RMI, MIWA, SAMBRA, TEPA, ARA, SAPRA, AA Quality Assured or Bosch Car Service membership, we ask for the membership number and check it.
5.The services listed are actually offered
We spot-check the service list so drivers are not sent to a tyre shop for a cambelt.
What it does not mean
Verification is a check on identity and credentials, not a guarantee of workmanship. We do not inspect repairs and we are not a party to the work you agree with a garage. Always get a written quote and keep your invoice.

Verification is free. Complete your listing, add your accreditation numbers and request verification from your dashboard.
