1. Who we are

FindCarGarages operates the website at findcargarages.co.za, a free directory of motor repair and servicing businesses in South Africa. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean FindCarGarages, and "you" means anyone using the site.

2. What the directory is

We publish information about garages so that motorists can find and contact them. We are an information service only. We do not repair vehicles, we do not employ or control any listed business, and we are not a party to any agreement you reach with a garage.

Listing information is supplied by the business or gathered from public sources. We check what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that every price, opening time, accreditation or service list is current.

3. Using the site

You may use the directory to find services for yourself or your business. You may not scrape, copy or republish the directory in bulk, use it to send unsolicited marketing, attempt to break its security, or submit false or misleading content.

4. Listings and claims

Anyone may submit a garage for inclusion. Every submission is moderated before publication and we may decline or remove any listing at our discretion. A business may claim its listing to manage it, and we may ask for proof that you are authorised to act for the business.

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their own listing and for holding any licence, registration or accreditation they display.

5. Reviews

Reviews must describe your own genuine experience. We moderate reviews and remove content that is defamatory, discriminatory, off-topic, incentivised or written by a competitor. Businesses may publish one reply to each review.

We do not remove a review simply because a business dislikes it.

6. Premium listings and payments

Premium listings are paid subscriptions that add presentation and placement features. Premium never changes how reviews are moderated. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and you may cancel at any time from your dashboard, with access continuing to the end of the paid period.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from work performed by a listed business, from information on a listing being out of date, or from your inability to access the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by South African law and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
